| - Stay With You This semester has shaped up to be a pretty good one. Of course there are some disappointments...grades and improv. But both are able to be improved upon next year and I certainly plan on doing so. However the other aspects of this semester have been really great. There is a great new amazing awesome beautiful hilarious person in my life, and luckily enough for me she thinks I have some of those qualities too.
In about a week I will be 20 and Ill no longer be a sophomore. Time is fucking flying at lightspeed.
This summer, interesting indeed it will be.
Good luck with finals all!
| So Last night was one of the most unique experiences I have ever had in my life...
It all began when I went to Topeka to have dinner with Molly. I had my first meal at Taco Tico...not half bad, may i suggest the Choco Taco. Her father is major at the Topeka Police Department, and he can prowl the streets for criminals whenever he wants. So she and I rode along with him for a while searching for crime. No major crimes happened, but going 115 in a police car is still pretty amazing. After a while he asked us if we would like to ride in one of the police helicopters, "uhhhh, YEAH!"
So we arrive at the police hangar and outside of it is a small 2 person helicopter without doors, parked on a small landing pad. Molly went first, then I went. So last night, only my second time in Topeka, I was viewing it from hundreds of feet above on a beautiful night with only a harness holding me inside a small helicopter as I travelled 80 miles an hour over rooftops. The pilot showed me the infa-red camera and we looked at the infa-red blobs of people walking into a wal-mart, and I saw the Governor's mansion and the capitol from above. It was sooo amazing. Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected to ride in a helicopter any time soon, let alone one without doors, and Molly's dad set it up like it was nothing. We just showed up and got in. It was the tail end of one of the most enjoyable Friday's of my life.
| So for the first time in a looong time im officially not single. I like it, although its only been since 3 this morning that this happened. Her name is Molly and we've spent a lot of time together in the last couple of weeks and I'm happy, definitely happy. It's hard to explain exactly how I feel, but i like that because it means it's more than i can wrap my head around as of yet. I've been extremely busy otherwise though, and i think I'm pretty much in the "after the tornado day, we should have just cancelled the whole week" camp. It looks as though I wont be doing anything exciting for break, but having a break will be exciting enough within itself.
Things are good. I am tired as hell. Yay for starbucks.
| A good weekend it was indeed. Still not much sleep, but damnit I enjoyed myself and the company was great. I look forward to what may come. | | |
| I look forward to this weekend. Despite my lack of sleep, and the large amount of studying for quizzes/tests...this has been a good week, but I definately look forward to the weekend. | | |
